The
Vision Revealed Set My Church in Order: Pastor Bonner
carried out the vision of his illustrious father in the
gospel, the late Bishop R.C. Lawson, the Founder of the
Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The vision, Set
My Church In Order was a divine order from God to Bishop
Lawson. Bishop Bonner believes that the vision that
Bishop Lawson had for Washington, D.C. was similar to
the vision that he had for the Church of Our Lord Jesus
Christthat it would reach to all continents of the world.
It would put in place, the doctrinal issues that are vital
to the church as it was established from the day of Pentecost.
Fulfillment: Pastor Bonner came to Washington, D.C.
to establish a church as part of the fulfillment of the
vision to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ back into the
Washington, D.C. area, after men who had been pastoring
and represented the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in
the Washington, D.C. area seceded from the organization
and became independent churches. Pastor Bonner made
the decision that Refuge Temple Church would become the
Mother Church of Washington, D.C. and would not secede
from the organization as the other two churches.
Pastor Bonner had a talk with the Lord and the Lord made
him to understand that the safest way to do this was to
buy and deed the land in the name of the Church of Our
Lord Jesus Christ, Inc., and they will hold the deed forever.
The New Vision: Refuge Temple Church of Washington,
D.C. isnt just a church, it is a Pentecostal miracle.
Pastor Bonner made the decision that this church would
become the Mother Church of Washington, D.C. The
Church chosen by Jesus Christ for the blessing of multitudes.
Bishop Bonner is committed to Washington,
D.C., to see to it that the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ
becomes one of the top churches in the Washington Metropolitan
area. The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ has the
highest Gospel and Doctrinal standard in the world.
Refuge Temple Church of Washington, D.C. has gone to new
heights in the Lord and will go to even greater heights
in years to come. God has miraculously brought this
great work to pass through Pastor Bonner by demonstrating
that this is only the beginning for the continuous winning
of souls for His kingdom in the Washington, D.C. area.
We thank God for our Assistant Pastor, Elder William Michael
Fields who came to Refuge Temple, Washington, D.C. in
1993. He is fondly known as the Preaching
Machine. Elder Fields has been a tremendous
blessing to the people of God in the absence of our Pastor.
We would like to give thanks to God for our Pastor, Bishop
William Lee Bonner and his love for God and for the people.
He freely sacrifices himself for the winning of souls,
as he nurtures them and makes sure they are spiritually
fed. The key to enhancing all five of Bishop Bonners
churches and all of the churches in the COOLJC organization
spiritually is through the fulfillment of the Holy Year
Vision declared by our Pastor from August 2005 through
August 2007 by fasting twice a week, Wednesdays and Fridays
(see website: www.COOLJCONLINE.com).
The glory of God is consistently magnified in all of his
works.
